Bands of monochromatic grey shades enveloping a nondescript 70s era bungalow, against a peripheral band of trees. Man vs nature. Porosity vs porosity. Man kissing Nature.
Drawing inspiration from the decades old roof parapet, this facade intervention of a zig-zag ribbon is to effect + guide ones arrival right to the inner sanctum of the bungalow-turn-office. It’s divided into 3 tiers + staggered upwards to blend in with the half-century old roof parapets, also to reflect the anatomy of a tree. Each tier will have a different play of louvers rendering it whimsical, apart from allowing a more permeable facade, for breeze + filtered sunlight.
